Topics

Below is a list of topics that the Annual Meeting Design Team has identified as being of interest to the AHRA membership:

  • New Executive Leaders – Guidance for those evolving into executive roles or those who might be considering an executive career path. Topics can include more introductory topics on career support resources, finding additional organizations to support your growth, and how to network outside of your institution to foster opportunities for yourself.
  • Current Executive Leaders – These topics are for more seasoned leaders seeking fresh strategies and new perspectives to tackle problems and identify solutions. Topics can include practical solutions for daily challenges that radiology leaders work through, such as succession planning and performance metrics.
  • Staffing & Workforce Development – Address the evolving challenges of recruitment, retention, and staff engagement in imaging services. Topics can highlight creative workforce models, leadership development, solutions for burnout, and guidance for those looking to climb the career ladder.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Optimization – Share real-world applications of AI in imaging workflows. Topics should highlight what’s working, lessons learned, and strategies for leveraging AI to improve efficiency, quality, and patient care.
  • Navigating Mergers & Acquisitions – Offer practical insights on integrating health systems during mergers or acquisitions. Topics should focus on cultural alignment, operational continuity, and communication strategies that ensure smooth transitions.
  • Real World Innovations and Solutions – Highlight real-world success stories and creative solutions from the field that have transformed daily operations. These are presented as case studies to inspire attendees with practical, replicable ideas that drive measurable improvements. These case studies should also foster discussion on successes and challenges faced by organizations.
  • Remote Scanning – Examine the impact of remote scanning and its implementation on patient access, staffing models, and technology infrastructure. Presentations should explore real-world examples from facilities currently using this solution; share implementation strategies, regulatory considerations, and lessons learned.
