Latest Rules/AHRA Comments

When CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a Federal Agency) intends to issue a new regulation or modify an existing one, it’s called a “proposed rule” and begins with a summary of the issues and actions under consideration; it also states why the rule/change is necessary. A proposed regulation also solicits public comments during a structured “comment period” which is scheduled at a point after the announcement. AHRA’s Regulatory Affairs Committee, actively participates, often with industry allies to bring forward the concerns, questions and implications for our members and others.
